International cricket players right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, Regis Chakabva and all rounder, Timycen Maruma, tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the duo was not part of the team touring Pakistan.
Chakabva and Maruma spent a week as room-mates in a bio-secure bubble facility at the ZC Academy House in Harare. Two support services staff who were in contact with both players at the facility also tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The infected cricketers and staffers are currently self-isolating as per the COVID-19 protocols.
