The Stage is Set: Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals

It’s time to shine! On November 9, Harare’s Glamis Arena will transform into a vibrant music hub as 10 talented groups from across Zimbabwe’s provinces gather for the Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals.

The journey began on September 28 with provincial finals, and now the crème de la crème are ready to battle it out for the top spot. At stake? A whopping $15,000 and a coveted recording contract.

Meet the contenders:

  • The Cousins, an Afro-fusion group from Midlands, known for their infectious beats.
  • Shanty Town, Mashonaland Central’s pride, blending traditional rhythms with modern flair.
  • Outlaws, Harare’s very own Afro-fusion sensation.
  • Fugees Band, Matebeleland South’s Sungura maestros.
  • Pilgrims of Christ Trade, a Gospel group from Mashonaland East, spreading inspiration through music.

And the competition doesn’t stop there:

  • Tawedzegwa, Bulawayo’s Sungura ambassadors.
  • Kweseka, Matebeleland North’s Afro-fusion innovators.
  • Vibrant Band, Manicaland’s energetic ensemble.
  • Boom Jazz, Mashonaland West’s smooth Afro-fusion sound.
  • Panhimbe Crew, Masvingo’s Afro-fusion trailblazers.

But that’s not all. Last year’s winners, 911 Band, will make a special guest appearance, alongside Zimbabwe’s music heavyweights: Freeman, Feli Nandi, Chillspot Family, and Master H.

Gates open at 10 am, and entry is free! Don’t miss this electrifying musical extravaganza.
