Pintec Eyes Dendera Crown
KADOMA-based musician Charles Pintec is tipped to take over the Dendera Kingship following the release of a gem of an album at the end of December.
His latest offering, “Pressure”, reminds the Dendera fans of the Legendary Simon “Chopper” Chimbetu, who died in August 2005.
The eight-track album features Heartbreak, Pressure, the title track, Sekuru Gudo, Kapoto and Batai Mbavha, which have already proven to be runaway hits.
“On the name or song Pressure, I was teaching people to be content with their real lives rather than trying to live an artificial lifestyle hence giving other people unnecessary pressure in thinking that they have made it in life, yet they will be just acting up,” Pintec told EnterSportNews.
“The project was released on December 28 with Heartbreak being released on Christmas Day as Xmas present to the fans.”
With Sulumani Chimbetu having released two lukewarm singles in December, Khakhi featuring Jah Signal and Transformer, the Release of Pressure is set to announce a new King of Dendera in Charles Pintec.
Those who have attended his shows at the Odyssey, mainly the famous Kadoma festival where Pintec was on a star-studded lineup that featured South Africa-based Makhadzi, Jah Prayzah, Ex Q, Marcy Janyure and D.J L.Roy, confirmed to EnterSportNews that he is not a pushover but a humble genius who is destined for greatness in the music industry.
Pressure is undoubtedly going to take the Music industry by storm in 2023.
Pintec has released hits such as Gamba Rerudo, Komboni Yatsva, Tsoro and Chimbwa Mpengo, to mention but a few.
He, however, remains respectful of the Dendera heir apparent, Suluman.
“I have a lot of respect for them and wish to collaborate with Sulumani, Tryson or Allan in the future if afforded the opportunity,” Pintec told EnterSportNews.
Unlike his previous projects produced by Chegutu-based Producer Mambo Hermas, Pressure was made by the Legendary Producer Jabulani Ndlovhu at Truton studios, formerly Gramma Records.
Pintec began his musical journey in 2008 and recorded his first album, Gapu Redendera, the following year.
He then took a sabbatical to study Theology before making a comeback in 2020 with the release of an album, The New Curriculum Blend.
Far from music, Pintec is a man of the cloth, a Prophet and Founder General Overseer of the Royal Family Synagogue Church of Mercy and Solutions Worldwide. His weakness is just on Dendera.
