THE Zimbabwe Senior Netball team registered their first win after seeing off Kenya 56-46 at the ongoing Debmarine Netball Pent Series in Namibia yesterday.
It was the team’s second match of the campaign. The first match ended in a 56-38 defeat for the Gems at the hands of a star-studded Malawi team.
Zimbabwe head coach Lloyd Makunde stuck to the team that played in the first match.
He only made a single change later in the third quarter when he introduced Lynette for Sharon Bwanali at Goal Shoot.
The Gems’ however, quickly need to regroup and mount a serious challenge against an experienced Ugandan outfit they face today.
