CUT, cuts above the rest in Zim Women Volleyball

CHINHOYI University of Technology (CUT) is enjoying a purple patch in the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association and currently leads the women’s log standings with 26 points from 12 matches after the weekend’s game hosted in their backyard.

CUT, cut through all their opposition in a devouring manner Sunday like a hot knife through a bar of margarine.

The first victim was MSU who went down 3-0 followed by two other similar scorelines against Support Unit and Chimoio while Harare City pulled a setback to lose 3-1 against the high-flying CUT.

With that CUT took their points tally to 26 from nine matches having won all and a ratio of 5.4.

UZ Wolves Women have played s game less, and are in second place with 21 points but have a superior ratio of 5.5 compared to the log leaders.

Apart from losing to CUT, UZ Wolves had a relatively good outing beating MSU and Diamonds 3-0 respectively.

Lady Citizens are in third place with 21 points, with a walkover they registered over an administrative issue backfiring on the former champions while Support Unit sits in fourth place with 21 points as well from mine matches, a ratio of 0.87 separating from UZ Wolves and Harare City who both are on 21 points.
