Shihan Mashaya to Compete in IMAC English Open, Lead Nunchaku Seminar
THE reigning Kobudo (Weapons) World Champion Shihan Wilfred Mashaya is in England for the International Martial Arts Corporation (IMAC) English Open Tournament.
The event, scheduled for 4 August at the York Leisure Centre in England, is expected to attract 240 competitors from around the world.
The IMAC English Open will feature competitors from countries such as England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Zimbabwe, India, Nepal, Morocco, and the United States.
Mashaya is a highly decorated martial artist and Hall of Famer.
He holds a 5th Dan black belt in Kobudo.
He will be using the IMAC English Open as a crucial stepping stone in his preparation for the prestigious Martial World Championship in Germany in October.
Before the main competition, Shihan Mashaya will also be the guest instructor for a weapons seminar on 3 August. He will share his extensive knowledge and expertise in the art of nunchaku.
