SUCCESS coach and author Dr Marjory Chikoore is transforming the lives of divorced women and the disadvantaged through the proceeds from her books.
The USA-based motivational books writer who is eyeing 100 books and magazines said faith without works is as good as dead.
She adds that if she can change the lives of a few individuals in need, she will always sleep a satisfied woman.
She has so far managed to write 15 books and 14 magazines.
“I continue to realise that people need motivation and inspiration in a world that has become so painful and miserable,” said Dr Chikoore told EnterSportNews.
“These books are inspired pieces of work that will encourage individuals to rise above and beyond expectations in whatever they do.
“Since I started writing, I have seen women and men, young adults being encouraged to write their own stories. I have inspired 11 individuals to start writing books, which is crucial because it stresses this great work’s impact on my readers.”
Dr Chikoore defied the odds as she rose from a poor girl with only one Ordinary Level pass to becoming a holder of five degrees.
She is a testament that nothing is possible through determination and hard work. She is now a proud holder of a Bachelor of Education in Administration, Planning and Policy Studies, BEd, Master of Social Work, Master of Divinity, Master of Business Administration and a doctorate in Psycho-Analytical Psychotherapy.”
“After writing, I have started forwarding my proceeds to an organisation called Pop and Help, where I am helping those who knock at my door,” she said.
“So far, I have empowered divorced women, adults and children by paying for their school fees and assisting in starting small income-generating projects for them.
“I also aim to visit schools in Zimbabwe and encourage students by telling my story and how far God has taken me.
She has serialised her magazines into Volume 1, going up.
“Volume 5 is all about giving. I have learned that if you give, you receive, and it is all about sharing and giving your time, service and life for others. God will take care of you,” she said.
“Magazine Volume 6 talks about abundant life. It is about knowing that everyone can live an abundant life that Jesus promised when he said, I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
“I motivate myself by ensuring that I write something every day no matter what.”
